Retail Store Manager
About This Role
We a re seeking the skills and experience of a retail store manager to plan, organise, lead and control our medical supplies store in Maple Ridge, BC. The successful applicant will have in depth knowledge of and experience in retail store operations, with a focus on improving profitability, ROI and growth within the community where we are located.
Duties:
Plan, direct and evaluate the operations of our retail store
Manage staff and assign duties
Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales
Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
Source and negotiate with vendors when necessary to procure merchandise for resale
Develop and implement marketing strategies
Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenues
Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
Applicant Requirements:
Candidate to have a proven track record of entrepreneurship having started and successfully operated a retail business for over 3 years
Candidate to exhibit solid leadership traits
Candidate to have extensive experience in exemplary customer service
Candidate to be innovative and energetic with fresh ideas to take the business to the next level
Candidate to be a well rounded individual knowledgeable in business expansion
Key Responsibilities

Required Skills
- At least 3-5 years of Retail Sales Management Experience Required.
- Preference given to experience in Medical Ostomy supplies and sales.
