gForm Enterprises Ltd., is a Residential and Commercial Concrete Formwork. Our projects include both commercial and residential buildings and we have a separate division that handles General Contracting, Framing and some design. We’ve participated in projects that range from hotels and schools to custom residential builds and major renovations.

We are looking to grow our team and have 3 Cement Finisher openings in Richmond, BC. If you are interested in a Concrete Finisher, please read about the terms and conditions below.

Job Duties:

·      Check formwork, granular base and steel reinforcement materials and direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade

·      Fill hollows and remove high spots to smooth freshly poured concrete

·      Operate the power vibrator to compact the concrete

·      Level the top surface of concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

·      Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools

·      Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete

·      Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure the surfaces of concrete

·      Waterproof, damp-proof and restore concrete surfaces

·      Repair, resurface, and replace work or damaged sections of floors, walls, roads and other concrete structures

·      Work throughout the Lower Mainland

Language of work: English knowledge to be able to receive orders and to communicate well

Necessary Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 Years of experience as a concrete placer/finisher is mandatory

• Minimum Education: Secondary school is preferred but not required

• Language Skills: English knowledge to be able to receive orders and to communicate well

• Working well with others

• Problem solving, decision making, critical thinking and job task planning and organization
