About This Role

1. Supervision and Team Leadership

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of retail sales staff in the parts department

  • Assign duties and prepare staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations

  • Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing training, coaching, and guidance

  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of staff

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and established sales practices

2. Customer Service Oversight

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service by all team members

  • Address and resolve customer concerns, complaints, and product returns in a professional and timely manner

  • Support staff with complex or high-value sales transactions and technical product inquiries

  • Promote parts and accessories to meet departmental sales objectives

3. Inventory and Merchandising Control

  • Oversee inventory levels and coordinate ordering to maintain adequate stock availability

  • Ensure accurate receiving, pricing, labelling, and organization of merchandise

  • Maintain orderly and effective product displays in line with retail standards

  • Supervise inventory counts and investigate and resolve discrepancies

4. Ordering and Supplier Coordination

  • Coordinate procurement of parts and accessories from suppliers

  • Monitor outstanding orders and follow up on backorders and delivery timelines

  • Authorize returns, exchanges, and warranty claims in accordance with company policies

  • Communicate with suppliers regarding product availability and order status

5. Interdepartmental Coordination

  • Liaise with service technicians and advisors to ensure timely availability of required parts

  • Coordinate parts allocation for service and repair orders

  • Work with sales staff to ensure parts and accessories are prepared for customer deliveries

  • Communicate order updates and timelines to internal teams

6. Operations and Reporting

  • Prepare and review reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and staff activities

  • Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the parts department

  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards
