Job Type: Permanent Full-Time (35-40 hr work week)
Salary: $54.80/hour
Overtime: As per BC Employment standards
Benefits: Extended Health, Dental, Life, Vision Care, AD&D, Long Term Disability, as well as vacation pay and sick leave as per BC Employment Standards

Heritage Masonry is a leading Vancouver Island conservation and high-end residential build masonry company. We specialize in governmental, institutional and residential restoration of stone, terracotta, brick and concrete heritage structures and have a large group of masons in artisan residential builds of brick and natural stone full-bed, veneer and flat-work applications. We offer the full range of masonry services geared towards highly skilled tradespeople and our employees have the opportunity to gain many different skills or the opportunity to specialize.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
- Hire and supervise activities of subcontractors
- Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress
- Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
- Read blueprint, schemas and drawings
- Plan and manage budgets
- Prepare reports
- Oversee safety of operations
- Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures
- Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or business services
- Manage training and development strategies
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
Required Skills
- Driver's validity licence check
- Eligible for professional liability insurance

Qualifications
- Construction Specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional
- Driver's validity licence check

- 5+ years of experience in Conservation and Restoration
