IRCC News is seeking an ambitious, entrepreneurial, and relationship-driven leader to become our inaugural Founding National Sales Manager.
This is not a salaried position.
This is an opportunity to build, lead, and profit from a national advertising sales organization while representing one of Canada's emerging digital media platforms focused on immigration, labour market developments, workforce solutions, education, business, and public policy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a national advertising sales network, recruiting Provincial Sales Managers and Sales Representatives, securing strategic advertising partnerships, and driving revenue growth across Canada.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced business development professional, sales leader, media sales executive, or entrepreneur seeking the opportunity to create a substantial recurring income stream while building a national organization.

The Opportunity
This is more than a sales role.
It is an opportunity to become the Founding National Sales Manager of IRCC News, build a national advertising organization from the ground up, create lasting business relationships, develop recurring revenue streams, and play a pivotal role in the growth of one of Canada's emerging immigration and workforce media platforms.

Compensation Structure
20% Commission of Own Gross Advertising Revenue
10% Commission on Own Renewals
Team Override Earnings
The Founding National Sales Manager may retain a portion of the approved 20% commission pool on all sales generated by Provincial Sales Managers and Sales Representatives within the National Sales Organization.
Key Responsibilities
- National Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute national advertising sales strategies

- Establish sales goals and performance expectations
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and leadership support
- Develop strategic advertiser relationships
- Create long-term revenue growth initiatives

- Personally secure advertising contracts and sponsorship agreements
- Negotiate annual advertising partnerships
- Develop strategic corporate relationships
- Identify new advertising categories and opportunities
- Expand the reach and visibility of IRCC News advertising products
- Team Development
- Recruit and onboard Provincial Sales Managers
- Support the growth of provincial sales teams
- Create a culture of professionalism and accountability
- Assist in training and sales development
- Monitor sales activity and performance

Qualifications
- A bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing is preferred, however proven experience is more valuable

- To recognize the individual who accepts the challenge of building the IRCC News National Sales Organization from the ground up, the successful candidate shall be inducted into the exclusive:

- Founders Club members are eligible for additional annual performance bonuses based upon advertising revenue generated through the National Sales Organization.
- Founders Club Bonus Structure
- Annual Advertising Revenue Founders Club Bonus
- $250,000 1% of Total Revenue
- $500,000 2% of Total Revenue
- $1,000,000 3% of Total Revenue
- $2,000,000 4% of Total Revenue
- $3,000,000+ 5% of Total Revenue
- Founders Club Eligibility and Retention
- The Founders Club designation is reserved exclusively for the first National Sales Manager appointed by IRCC News.
- To qualify for and maintain Founders Club status, the Founding National Sales Manager must:
- Accept the position as the inaugural National Sales Manager
- Remain actively engaged in the role for a minimum of three (3) consecutive years
- Remain in good standing with IRCC News
- Continue supporting the development and growth of the National Sales Organization
- Comply with all company policies, contractual obligations, and ethical business practices
- Should the Founding National Sales Manager voluntarily resign, abandon the role, or be terminated for cause prior to completing the three-year commitment period, all Founders Club benefits, designations, and future bonus entitlements shall immediately cease.
- Upon successful completion of the three-year commitment period, the Founding National Sales Manager shall earn Permanent Founders Club Status.
- Exclusivity of the Founders Club
- The Founders Club designation is a one-time opportunity.
- Only one individual shall ever hold the title of:
- Founding National Sales Manager
- Should the inaugural National Sales Manager cease their engagement with IRCC News before completing the required three-year commitment period, the Founders Club designation shall be permanently retired and shall not be transferred, reassigned, or reissued.
- Future National Sales Managers may participate in alternative leadership incentive programs but shall not be eligible for Founders Club status.

- Upon successful completion of the three-year commitment period, the Founding National Sales Manager shall receive:
- Permanent Founders Club Status
- Lifetime recognition as Founding National Sales Manager
- Ongoing eligibility for Founders Club bonus programs while actively engaged with IRCC News
- Priority consideration for future executive leadership opportunities
- Priority consideration for strategic advisory roles
- Participation in future business expansion initiatives
- Access to additional long-term incentive programs introduced by IRCC News
