About This Role
We are a franchise of Petro-Canada. At our primary work location, which is a gas station and
a convenience store, we carry a variety of items such as snacks, beverages, cell phone
chargers, coffee/tea, tobacco products and other convenience items, in addition to selling
gas. Our store caters to the everyday as well as emergency needs of the people in the
surrounding localities for the purchase of items like ice, milk, or over-the-counter medicines.
We remain open late at nights, early in the mornings and even on holidays when the regular
stores are closed. All of our employees are trained professionally so as to provide the best of
customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assign sales workers to duties;
- Authorize return of merchandise;
- Sell merchandise;
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages;
- Organize and maintain inventory;
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers;
- Supervise cashiers and other retail staff;
- Ensure smooth day-to-day retail operations in a fast-paced environment;
- Maintain efficient customer service and support customer relations;
- Report to management as required.
