Experience required:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on professional experience servicing, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing Audi vehicles in an automotive service or dealership environment.
The required experience may have been obtained under job titles such as Car Mechanic, Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Service Technician, Automotive Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Repair Technician, or another comparable automotive repair/diagnostic position. The previous job title itself is not determinative; applicants must demonstrate the required hands-on Audi vehicle experience.

General Skills and Duties:
Diagnose, service, maintain and repair Audi vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using computerized diagnostic equipment and specialized tools.
Inspect, repair and replace automotive systems, parts and components.
Service and repair gasoline, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs).
Service and repair engines, transmissions, drivetrain, brakes, steering, suspension, fuel and emission, electrical/electronic and climate-control systems.
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance.
Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
Interpret diagnostic results, wiring diagrams, technical service information and manufacturer repair procedures.
Complete work orders and document diagnostic findings, repairs performed and parts replaced.
Use and maintain automotive diagnostic equipment, specialized tools and shop equipment.
Follow manufacturer procedures and workplace safety requirements, including applicable high-voltage safety procedures for EVs and hybrid vehicles.
Communicate diagnostic findings and repair requirements with service personnel.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

- Efficiency-based bonus: In addition to the base hourly wage of $42.00 per hour, Car Mechanics are eligible for an efficiency-based bonus based on productive hours completed. When a technician's productive hours exceed their actual hours worked, the additional productive hours are paid at the mechanic's regular hourly rate. Productive hours represent work completed based on established repair/service time allowances and do not represent additional physical hours worked.
